Terms and Conditions for Connecting Communities

 1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging in our consultancy services, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with our services.

2. Consultancy Services

2.1 Scope of Services: We are a disability and community health consultancy that offer consultancy, coaching and project-based work to develop services and strategies that start with putting people and communities at the heart of pathways, systems and processes.. The specific details of the services provided will be outlined in the consultancy agreement or proposal agreed upon by both parties.

2.2 Payment: Payment terms and rates will be detailed in the consultancy agreement. Payment for services is due as per the agreed schedule.

2.3 Confidentiality: We respect the confidentiality of all information shared during the consultancy engagement. Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information disclosed during the consultancy period.

2.4 Communication: We will communicate with you primarily through email, and we expect timely responses to facilitate the progress of our work.

 3. Client Responsibilities

3.1 Cooperation: You agree to cooperate with us in a timely and transparent manner to facilitate the successful delivery of our services.

3.2 Timeliness: Delays in providing required information, approvals, or feedback may impact project timelines. We are not responsible for delays caused by the client.

4. Payment and Fees

4.1 Fees: Our fees for consultancy services are outlined in the consultancy agreement or proposal. You agree to pay all fees as specified in the agreement.

4.2 Payment Schedule: Payment schedules and methods will be specified in the consultancy agreement. Late payments may incur additional charges.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership: Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, patents, and trademarks, arising from our consultancy services will remain with us.

5.2 Client Materials: We respect your intellectual property rights. Any client materials provided to us for the project remain your property, and we will not use them for purposes other than the project without your consent.

6. Termination

6.1 Termination by Client: You have the right to terminate our consultancy services by providing written notice. However, you may be responsible for any fees associated with work performed up to the termination date.

6.2 Termination by Connecting Communities: We reserve the right to terminate the consultancy engagement if you fail to meet your obligations or if circumstances prevent us from continuing the services. In such cases, any prepaid fees may be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

 7. Liability

Our liability for any damages arising from our consultancy services is limited to the fees paid for those services. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Government of Jersey. Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through [mediation/arbitration/litigation], as specified in the consultancy agreement.

9. Modifications

We may update these terms and conditions at our discretion. The updated terms will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.
